There I was over on Instagram talking about fitting in just the one blog post per week and then just like buses, along comes another one! I thought it was high time I brought back the occasional edition of Weekend Style Edit – so grab a coffee and prepare to enjoy nothing more than a simple style scroll.

I can’t believe that February half term will be upon us as of 3:00pm this afternoon. If you’re a parent, do you find yourself ticking off time from one school holiday to the next? I find myself doing this every year!

And then the other day it hit me that one day, I won’t be. Imagine that. Breaking the habit of some fifteen years… blimey, that’s awfully deep for a Friday. I really should stick to Post Poo Drops and hand soap in monochrome bottles…

Have a great weekend!

  1. Lovely gentle post Amanda, great for my coffee break. Love the Jeans, and have just discovered that there’s an Arket local to me, yay! And I love the round bag too. The spring feel in the air is so good for inspiring a wardrobe refresh. This is my first year without having to consider school terms, I thought after 22 years I would never be out of the habit of planning my life around school. However, despite living opposite school, surprisingly I’m adapting very nicely and wasn’t even aware it was half term next week ha ha. It’s a bit like thinking you’ll never be able to sleep a full night again when you have a young baby/child and broken sleep and exhaustion is the norm. Amazing how we bounce back! Miss the holidays though, used to love them being home with no routine. Have a wonderful half term break x

    1. So glad you enjoyed over coffee Amanda – the best way to consume most blog posts I think!
Oh my goodness – I think I would literally have to be evicted from the store if there was an Arket near me – I LOVE that shop so much!
I’m glad to hear you’re adapting to the non school term life – we get so used to it don’t we? And the no sleep baby days are still way too fresh in my mind I think… maybe because I’m now in that life stage of waking up anyway.
Have a lovely rest of the week too!
      Amanda xx
