Last week it felt bordering on joyous to start shedding layers and dressing like spring was finally on the way. And let’s just ignore the fact that we’re now back in the depths of winter again – it’s okay. I know that spring will back soon. I have seen the (sun) light!
Mr OS and I took the day off on Friday (I KNOW! Get me all balanced!) and fled to Canford Cliffs. After I’d treated myself to a wash and blow dry, we grabbed some lunch and headed down to the beach to soak up some rays.
It was more than just the sun and swishy hair that gave me that new season feeling. I left the big coat behind and swapped it for this new season hush Military style jacket. I’ve been toying with the idea of one for a couple of seasons now and it turns out, this one is spot on.
How I Style It…
I felt relaxed and comfortable wearing it over the C’est Si Bon Striped Tee and with a pair of faux leather joggers – my love for these was recently reignited, post wardrobe overhaul. The slightly more girly detail of a quilted, chain strap bag felt like a good juxtaposition.
