If there’s a surefire way to bring a smile and wipe away all the memories of rainy days past, it’s to get up, walk away from the desk and get out in the sunshine while it lasts. And even better than that… pick up some fresh flowers whilst I’m at it.
Whilst I’m not ready to brave the outdoors without a trench coat, I’m happy to drop the sweaters for shirts… especially ones with sharks on. Yep… you heard me. Sharks!
how i style it…
When it comes to dressing for April showers, being
very slightly mistrustful of the weather, I can’t leave home without my trusty Marks & Spencer trench coat at the moment. And because I’m still feeling the cold, I wore a white cami-vest underneath my shirt.
When coping with these less than adequate for the time of year temperatures, I am a confirmed wuss!
And on this particular day, because one bag is sometimes not enough (and I’m really trying hard not to get plastic bags when I go shopping), as well as my cross-body bag, last summer’s round straw shopper came along too.
