The Spring Cashmere Edit

There are no rules written anywhere to say that cashmere is only for autumn and winter. And if there were, you know I’d be up for breaking them!

And let’s face it. It’s not as if, come March 20th, that the weather will magically morph into the next season without hiccup or stepping backwards into winter a few more times. I think the 1st March snowstorms were proof enough of that.

With the temperature seemingly unable to make up its mind at this early stage of the spring game, a breathable natural fibre that comes with the ultimate feel-good factor seems like the ultimate in sensible options.

So hang onto the desire to stay cosy for as long as you can and take a look at the spring cashmere edit below.

Perfect for keeping you warm as the season slowly turns into spring and beyond…

On those sans coat days (I love those days!), layer up in a cashmere sweater and scarf – because let’s face it – there is no such thing as too much cashmere.

Pure Collection have a few lighter weight woven scarves and this one from The White Company is in the end of season sale with 40% off.

And of course, I can’t mention cashmere scarves without reminding you of my dear friend Jennie’s brand – Lois Avery. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful Italian cashmere you’ll ever get to lay your cheek upon.

Cashmere care is all important whether you’re still wearing it or thinking about storing it away for the summer. Grab yourself some storage bags, cashmere wash, cedar balls and a cashmere pilling comb for de-bobbling sessions.

    1. I’m just about to order that Pure casmere sweater too— could I ask you if you sized up at all & what the fit is like. I really want it to look like the online stylist’s in the blog.
      Thanks in advance

      1. Hi Sue,
Wonderful – its a gorgeous sweater! I did size up one size from my normal as I find the Pure sweaters to be quite fitted in some instances. In doing so it gave it a lovely boxy feel which is what I was after.
        Hope you love yours!

  1. Hi Amanda. I’m thinking of ordering the black scarf from Pure. Do you know if it is nice and soft and airy/fluffy or if it is more “flat”? I already have one from Nihao Planet that Stylonylon recommended and I wear it all the time. It’s grey and I would love a black one too but they don’t have them so wondered if the Pure one may fit the bill. Thanks – and still loving your blog/instagram feed.

    1. Hi Victoria,
How lovely – a new possible cashmere purchase! I honestly haven’t seen it in the flesh but I chose it for this spring edit on the basis that it was woven. This makes me think it would be lighter for the season. However, perhaps to be sure it might be an idea to drop their customer service an email or if returns are free, you could always send it back if it wasn’t quite what you thought?
Good luck on your cashmere quest and so pleased to hear you’re still loving the blog and Instagram – thanks so much!
