A round up of the new in pre-spring drops
I don’t know about you but around this time in winter, I really start looking forward to spring. As in just can’t wait any longer, need to get my ankles out, want to feel the sun’s warmth again looking forward.
And the shops know exactly how to tap into that with their tempting new in pre-spring drops. Teasing us with the promise of new clothes that can be worn without coats, ankle boots with bare legs and fine light layers of cashmere.
Because you need cashmere whatever the weather!
What am I looking for this season? The palest hint of blush to liven up my mostly monochrome palette (plus it looks great with grey), more wearable flats that can take a day’s worth of pavement pounding in comfort, slogan sweatshirts to make me smile and a great new, carry it all bag.
Not much of an ask then.
I urge you to take a scroll through a few recent finds below – there are some new season gems here that will breathe life and fresh air into your wardrobe this spring.
Buy now, wear later, love forever…
Talk about being spoilt for choice when it comes to new season staples. And with Fernandez & Wells coffee in the store too. I think they call that retail therapy perfection!
Modern cuts, tactile fabrics and a whole host of accessories were laid out to tempt and same can be said of the online offerings.
Oh and super-fine gauge wafer cashmere for spring. What more can you ask for?
After several attempts to just skim over the new hush spring pre-collection to bring it to your attention, I’ve been unable to hold off on the purchase front any longer.
hush never fail to tempt me with at least four new pieces per season. Be it basics or a new dress and now of course, there’s their rapidly expanding accessories and footwear that requires regular investigation.
The Lola sunnies look way more expensive than they’re £16 price tag and feel very Olivia P to me. And the statement sleeve cotton top by Boutique with its tie back feature would become an instant on-repeat piece.
Don’t hang around though. The popular pieces get snapped up at lightening speed and I’ve missed out on my sizes a gazillion times!
If you’re a long term reader of this blog then you might know how much I love Mango – but only when it comes to shopping it online.
I’ve had many successes with online purchases but only one or two bought in store. It’s a definite case of needing to see it styled as opposed to on the hanger. So yes please to all of these below…
The slightly fugly shoe shape is still an obsession and these ballerinas remind me of a Céline pair I kept seeing all over Instagram last summer. I’m repeatedly drawn to their soft leather. And £59.99 price tag.
That’s about the extent of my new in pre-spring drops wish list so far.
What’s on yours?
