There is nothing better than packing for a week in the sun with little to consider but poolside and beach attire. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good city break and the chance to coordinate a couple of capsule looks but when pure relaxation and zero pre-holiday stress is required, holidays beside bodies of water are where it’s at.
For this summer vacation I was excited to collaborate with one stop holiday shop, Coco Bay to showcase a few beach essentials. Browsing their fabulous selection of swimwear, coverups, clothing and accessories, it’s easy to see why Coco Bay have recently won a Best Online Swimwear award.
Whether you’re after a teeny bikini, figure flattering swimsuits or a versatile beach dress, the three sisters who co-founded Coco Bay have quite literally, got you covered. My top three picks to sun in style were all by Seafolly and consisted of the Tribal Trader tote, the Pop beach dress and a Goddess Hot Red Twist Bandeau Maillot swimsuit.
When there is nothing more to consider than exactly when you’ll get out of the pool for lunch and which restaurant you’ll eat at, coverups are the order of the day. I pretty much lived in the Seafolly Pop dress by day and when I wasn’t wearing it, it adorned the parasol serving as a poolside flag to mark our sun bed territory.

The swimsuit with it’s hold you in and up powers was an absolute godsend when it came to zooming down the resort’s high water slides with JC. After much persuasion to accompany her on multiple descents, I may have been somewhat apprehensive about height and speed but at least there was no fear of over exposure on splash down!
Decamping to the pool or beach for the entire day meant carrying all manner of books, sun cream, water, sunglasses….and loom bands by order of the daughter. The brightly printed Tribal Trader tote was perfect both in terms of size and the wipe clean cotton canvas. It turns out wipe clean is still very much a thing with a nine year old residing in an all-inclusive resort with ice cream on tap.
If you’ve yet to purchase any last minute holiday essentials or are still in search of the perfect swimwear for some pre-planned winter sun, take a look at Coco Bay.
With free returns you can try on at home, figure out what goes with your existing pool side pieces and avoid the glare of the dreaded changing room glare. I can think of no better start to a beach holiday!
