This weekend the clocks go back meaning, if you don’t have children or dogs, you get an extra hour in bed. If you have one or the other…or both, then you’ll be up an hour earlier than normal. You have my sympathy on both counts.
To indulge in the extra snooze time… or indeed lesson the pain of being up at eye-wateringly early-o-clock, take a look at Hush’s beautiful selection of nightwear. I’m a complete convert since Mr OLS bought me the vintage rose pyjamas for my birthday in May – pulling these on with a pair of bed socks and lolling about on the sofa of a Sunday morning is definitely up there on my Life’s Small Pleasures list.
I’ve taken them on weekend escapes and paired them with sunglasses and flip flops to hang out the washing on warm sunny days. These are PJ’s that beg to be worn…and accessorised!
Now that dark winter nights are officially here, opportunities for curling up on the sofa with a book, Nat King Cole on the iPod and the dog on my feet are on the increase. As are the lounging and loafing apparel shopping excuses. Here’s what I’d like to possess for Hush Hour…and all the other long nights and lazy Sunday mornings to follow.
