In the photo that was chosen for the article, I wore a gorgeous draped coverup by Duffy. Until that point I wasn’t overly familiar with the brand but became quickly enamoured with the bright colours and cashmere soft feel of that cardigan. Based in New York and founded in 2009 by Ed Duffy, the brand is synonymous for it’s quality cashmere and both subtle and zingy palettes that work together to form a perfect blend of cozy, understated chic. Personally I can think of no better combination.
Front and centre had to be stripes of course! I’d layer this cashmere beauty (3)over long sleeved T-shirts now and wear on it’s own for spring. I’ve seen quite a few biker style knits recently and this one in navy (4) with it’s asymmetric zip and leather cuff detail is a perfect alternative spring cover up. And finally, I can never resist a bright when the sunshine arrives – the Chartreuse knit (5) would also be perfect right now with a leather skirt and opaques.
Do you like the Duffy pieces I’ve selected or do you have another favourite?
