One of the things I love to capture in an outfit post is a great detail shot. You’ll often find me staring glassy eyed at the screen for hours on end, cropping and editing photos to ensnare a particular aspect that to me, was the pivotal element. And it may come as no surprise to learn that very often it’s the shoes!

Morning Lovely! A gorgeous post for a Monday morning! All the shoes are gorgeous, however, being a lover of all things summer, my favourites would have to be those Dune sandals… love the soft beige leather, love the sparkle & love the feeling of the sun on my feet when wearing sandals!
I would definately say I plan outfits around shoes….not every pair of shoes or boots, looks good with every style of jeans I own… and of course if I’m wanting them to be the focus of my outfit, then it’s most definately a case of what goes with these shoes!

I adore the Jimmy Choo mary janes in the first picture! Yes, I often have a craving to wear a favourite pair of shoes so I plan my outfit around that. But then again, today I’ve planned my outfit around my beloved pair of polka dot tights. That’s normal, right?

And on the question: YES! I do plan outfits around shoes. I have a bare of lovely Louboutin’s in an amazing suede blue. I have been known to buy dresses just to, you know, be able to wear the shoes more:)
Lots of competition there, but I think the Dune sandals are my favourite – very pretty but practical being flat and so versatile because of the neutral colour… think I’ll be looking round for something similar this season.
I definitely plan my outfits round my shoes some of the time, especially when I have something new I am dying to wear. But, with the help of Upper Street as recommended by you, I plan a lot of my shoes round my favourite colours so I know they will go with my wardrobe.
I love the Topshop boots, although I’m not sure I’d be able to walk in them! I often plan my outfits around shoes or boots .. and it’s often dependent on how much walking I plan on doing that day!

All gorgeous although the nude heels are the stuff of dreams! You need to add some Hunters though! I don’t know anyone who can rock a pair in the same way! Xx

So many lovely shoes! I have to say I love the first picture with the Jimmy Choo’s, such classics. I’m also in love with the pink Zara jacket which is stunning. WANT!!
