A good Breton stripe top is one stylish piece that I’ll never fall out of love with and as for block heels…well that’s a crush that’s getting stronger as I type.
Just because I already own more than one but less than five striped tops doesn’t mean to say I don’t have my eye on more. Especially when it comes in the form of the J.Crew Liberty print collar as above.
1. DAY Birger et Mikkeslsen striped merino sweater – £110 Net-A-Porter 2. Broderie Breton top – £50 Jaeger 3. Edie double faced stripe top – £55 Whistles
And call me practical if you will (I won’t be insulted these days), but block heels…what a great idea. Enough height, sturdy AND a stylish option. Especially when in the guise of Miu Miu with crystal encrusted heels. Well…a girl can only take so much practical.
1. Miu Miu crystal embellished suede pumps – £550 Net-A-Porter 2. Cloudy Skies Fuchsia block heels – £44.99 Clarks 3. Agile ankle strap court – £85 Dune

I was very wary of the block heel when I first saw them (a bit granny-esque I thought) but I’m slowly changing my mind .. and the blingy heel is certainly helping
Love Breton tops; one can never have enough!
Yes, good story on blocked heels, saw lots out personal shopping on Friday. I think I own about seven striped tops at last count!
Love the Breton stripes but haven’t made my mind up on block heels! There’s a fine line between looking chic and looking 70!

I love my Breton tops! The J Crew one here is utterly fabulous but dry clean and I are not good bed fellows… I feel a DIY collar coming on
I heard an interview with Mary Quant last year who said she couldn’t pass a Breton top without buying it which totally validated my own obsession! They are so easy to wear and dress up or down. Thanks to you suggestions a few more will make it into my wardrobe.
