This weekend the new Mango AW12 catalogue landed on my doormat via the glossy pages of Octobers InStyle magazine. I normally pull out all the inserts and catalogues and put them straight into the recycling but seeing Kate Moss on the front cover of this one stopped me in my tracks. And did the trick of making me open it up and flick through…and quite frankly, I’m glad I did.
Ms Moss looks suitably stunning on the first few pages but it was the 24 Hours Style feature that caught and held my attention and now has me wanting to go shopping with a vengeance.

I’m a complete sucker for this sort of feature – seeing all the pieces in action and beautifully styled has so much more pulling power when it comes to releasing the credit card from its confines of the wallet.

Not that I imagine anyone spends their day looking that good or indeed changing that many times but it really makes me want to shop some of the pieces. I’ve currently got my eye on the Boucle Jacket and the toffee coloured Tapered Trousers.

And as for the footwear – the ankle boots and shoe boots that I liked are marked as coming soon and I’ll certainly be back to check them out.

Mango wasn’t really one of the online stores that I included in my e-tail habits before but having seen this campaign, it’s now been well and truly book marked for future reference.
Do you shop at Mango and what do you think of the AW styling?

I was similarly impressed Amanda! There are some lovely photos in yesterday’s Mail on Sunday (just close your eyes to the naked Liz Jones on the front lol)
Will be interested to see how the fit is..Mango tends to come up small..must head into H of Fraser for a closer look! Avril x
I am a recent convert to Mango and am loving their new seasons gear. Not a fan of ms Moss though – enough to put me off buying to be honest, but we’ll ignore her for the time being. My daughter is also eyeing up their leather biker style jackets
Love this collection, really wearable too!

I always love the styling but the stores that were in Toronto were always disappointing. Like they sent all the great stuff somewhere else. And now they don’t have stores in Toronto anymore! Especially when I saw at least 3 things in the feature above that were amazing – like those wedge booties and the amazing parka with the big faux fur collar.
I agree that styling in this way is very effective – totally brings the items to life.
