I always look forward to the Push PR press days as its more than just an opportunity to peruse new season clothes, jewellery, shoes and accessories – its also a chance to catch up with the fabulous team who’ve all become great friends. This time the trip had the added bonus of a chance to catch up with Briony from A Girl, A Style and also to meet up with Victoria from Feathers And Frills blog who I’ve been exchanging emails with of late. She’s even more lovely in real life might I add and I highly recommend checking out her blog.
After a very rainy school run where I wrapped my optimistically, freshly curled hair in a scarf and sported possibly the pinkest lipstick known to man, thereby possibly cementing my status as “that strange fashion woman”, I hotfooted it to London to the uber swanky W Hotel, Leicester Square.
First to catch my eye were the sumptuous suede beauties in the form of the new season Tusting bags – over sized? Check. Rich jewel tones? Uh huh. Am I now lusting after a Tusting? Hell yes! And if I had to choose just one I think it would be the Kimbolton but don’t ask which colour as I love them all.
Onto another accessory favourite the scarf and a new name on my horizon, Sara Ebbett. Taking the prettiness of the flora world and mixing in a few darker elements such as majestic looking stag beetles and a sprinkling of skulls, Sara has produced a stunning collection of beautifully printed scarves that beg to be touched, worn and generally admired. Her website is coming soon so I’d urge all scarf obsessives (and I know a few!), to make a note and bookmark for future reference.
After stopping by to coo over Upper Street shoes and say hi to my well heeled friends (& maybe stroke the Limited Edition Snakeskin shoes just one more time), I met the lovely Wardrobe Mistress aka Francesca who I shared my jewellery organisation, or rather the lack of, woes with. Wardrobe Mistress is a one stop shop for those who want to de-clutter, reorganise or get help with some sartorial inspiration on a range of levels. I admit to getting a little over excited at the online source of pre owned designer labels that Wardrobe Mistress stock – especially the enticing words Chanel Shop. Time to step away…well just for now anyway…

Now that’s a fun way to spend a day! It’s all lovely, but yes, those scarves caught my eye first! So pretty! I can’t imagine who you would know with a bit of a scarf problem … xx

Aw thanks Emm…your comment made me grin from ear to ear. Which I guess when wearing pink lippie could be somewhat scary!
