Whilst I admit to regularly lusting after high end labels and the finer things in life, I also believe you don’t need to spend a lot when it comes to a seasonal update, especially where accessories are concerned. Whilst wandering around with Small Child yesterday on a mission to get some birthday gifts purchased in a vain attempt at organisation, I spotted a few pieces that were just begging to be snapped up. And all for just over the grand total of £50 and done and dusted in fifteen minutes. More commonly known as speed shopping among parents – an absolutely necessary skill to master when accompanied by a small person with the attention span of a gnat.
In a bid to breathe new life into my earring collection I succumbed to the neon trend in a small subtle dose, bagged a bright satchel and wound up with four skinny belts inspired by this neon bright wrapped around a trench. I also managed to secure some over sized tortoiseshell sunnies – perfect for channelling La Palermo or coping with the harsh realities of morning school runs with blogging eye bags that rival Small Child’s book bag.
Wrapped Oval Drop Earrings – now £5 Topshop, Aztec Metal Drop Earrings – now £10 Topshop, Large Drop Lens Plastic Sunglasses – £16 Topshop, Two Pack Pink & Black Skinny Belts – £4.99 New Look, Two Pack Flat Buckle Belts – £4.99 New Look, Orange Messenger Bag – £14.99 H&M

I NEED those belts

P.S – I have a similar speedy shopping problem when out with my other half
Have you tried distracting him with iPhone games and sweets? Not that I would do this of course…*coughs*

) saw some gorg wooden hoop earrings the other day for 4.99 …soooo wish i’d bought them now xxx
Ooh those bargain buys should always be snapped up! Next time young Jedi, next time! xx
Some very cute stuff here indeed. I really like the neon belts and I could buy lots and still not break the £20 rule! xx
I can’t believe you bagged all this for less than £50 – go you! Love it all (and reminds me I still have some big gaps in my Spring/Summer wardrobe).
Briony xx
Love the messenger bag, been after a bright one, now know where to go (may stop at New Look on the way) x
Such a great way to add a bit of Spring when it’s still raining and the wind is blowing a gale! I’m so fed up of horrid weather – bring on the sun (or at the very least clear skies) – so that I can bring out my summer clothes!
