Last night I put on my favourite party shoes and a healthy sprinkling of sequins and headed off to The W Hotel London to celebrate Upper Street turning two. It was wall to wall bespoke shoes, the fashion worlds loveliest bloggers and media folk and cocktails and canapés all round.
I first met co-founder Julia Grinham two months after Upper Street launched it’s bespoke shoe design service and I guess I feel a bit like a proud parent to be have watched the company go from strength to strength and be involved with writing their blog.
A chance to mingle and catch up with fellow bloggers in such a chic venue whilst sipping Snow Queen Vodka cocktails and to finally break out the Michael Kors sequin pants was a most welcome occurrence for a Thursday night.

Fellow blogger Helen from The It Guide and I left happily swinging our very generous goody bags that contained a shoe shaped treat from Fancy Nancy Cakes that barely made it back to my hotel room, OPI nail polish and a very generous gift voucher towards a pair of Upper Street heels. I can feel the sweet pleasure of shoe indecision coming on already!

If you haven’t yet experienced the ultimate high of designing your own heels, visit Upper Street now and let your inner Carrie Bradshaw take over.

You look gorgeous and I love those sparkly trousers on you – I think it’s impressive that you managed to hold off wearing them for this long! Those shoes you are wearing are just divine (great with trousers) – it’s very artistic that you can see the back of them in the mirror! A pair of Upper Street shoes is definitely on my wishlist, one day … xx
You look fab, whit woo! Rocking those Michael Kors sequin pants for sure.
Wow, you’ve got some seriously great outfit there; gorgeous shoes, pants,.. Nice touch that goody bag. x
Love the pants (I am an avid Michael Kors fan) and the shoes are really different, with diamante decor and great colour. Upper street shoes and definitely on my list, but I need to visit the shop really to have my feet measured I suppose, so it means I have to wait until I am in the UK again !!!
Amanda you look incredible. I am loving the Michael Kors sequin pants on you – so so so good. Always loved your chosen Upper Street Heels – they look great on you. I love watching brands grow up so to speak, it is odd isn’t it how you feel almost maternal towards them ha? I hope you had a fabulous time – well it sounds like you did. x
Ah thank you so much Darling Lorien!! It was a fab night and as you say, I felt so very glad to be a part of the growing brand. xx
