Back to our weekend in Brighton and the first of two nights out in a row…I know…you’d think I was old enough to know better. The same could be said of wearing a glitter jacket purchased some two years ago from New Look. There were elbows aplenty (mine I might add) as the considerably younger customers were grabbing this £25 bargain off the rails but I had plans for this baby!
Plans pretty much as depicted here actually – to only be worn with paired down neutrals…and accompanied by BIG hair. I have long since given up on trying to fight my Studio 54 tendencies. I think this jacket is the perfect, sequin adorned proof that if you shop the high street carefully, there are some absolute gems to be found.

Having looked more carefully at the photo, I’m really not sure what was going on with my curling tong technique that night – there’s a definite depth of curl imbalance going on between one side and the other. That’d be the champagne that accompanied the getting ready to go out then…
