Not only is fashion week season the time to gaze at reams of catwalk imagery and street style photos but it’s also the perfect excuse to visually feast on the contents of Olivia Palermo’s closet. It’s not often I can say that something she wears to a runway show would translate well to a day of working at home and the school run but I think this one just might do it.
Even when dressed down as she was here at Rachel Roy AW12 in New York, she somehow retains that layer of gloss that eludes the majority of us mere mortals. I love this look and would be willing to give it a try in the name of an Olivia themed fashion experiment…especially as the jumper is still available at Reiss and is on sale.

Elsa Fishermans Rib Knit Jumper – was £135, now £48 Reiss, Lotte Contrast Sleeve T-Shirt – £49 Reiss, J Crew Cafe Cropped Wool-Tweed Pants – £140 Net-A-Porter, Colourful Box Bag – £225 Karen Millen, Isla Gold Cuff – £175 Alice Menter, Michael Kors Gold Sport Chronograph Watch – £199 My-wardrobe.com, Achieve Elastic Side Boots – £75 Topshop

She looks lovely as usual, and seriously how perfect is that make-up! I like this look on her and I am particularly fond of those boots (shame they aren’t within the £20 rule though)! xx
Now that is a look I could easily adopt!
It is isn’t it? One of the many reason why I love it…..if only she’d give up some of that gloss! xx
I am inspired – it’s my look for the day.. I don’t have any sweaters like that, so I’m off to raid my husbands wardrobe for a cashmere v neck! I may not look like the lovely Miss P, but I’m going to give it my best shot!

Loved it, just bought it! It’s like having a personal shopper! Never get the time to shop, so thanks for that
