Bodhi Enlightened Botanical Therapies

It was by two separate serendipitous incidents that the luxury botanical therapy brand Bodhi and I were introduced to each other; one by lovely blogger Lorien and the other from my friend and shopping enabler, Julia at Stanwells. This fact alone made me very keen to give some of their products a whirl.

The word Bodhi means enlightenment – directly translated it is to awaken or to understand, a namesake that they clearly haven’t undertaken lightly. All the ingredients that make up the luxury range  are ethically sourced from sustainable origins and they choose not to use palm oil due to the effects that the plantations have on tropical rain forests.

I received the Assemblage Bath & Shower gift set of body washes and a selection of the luxury body moisturisers, all containing essential oils that smell out of this world. I’ve been giving the different combinations a try for my morning shower and am literally transported to a world of spa-like fragrances. Which is no bad thing when you consider the stresses involved of getting a certain Small Child who moves at a sloth like pace out the door on time!

For an invigorating shower experience my favourites are Rosemary Chi, Mint Thé and Pep Noir and when relaxation is called for it has to be Ylang Ylang Incensa and Palmarosa Verde. My trip away this weekend and future stop overs in London will be beautifully fragrant from now on!

Designed to be a unisex range and containing twice the average of active ingredients found in some other natural products, Bodhi Botanical Therapies are a treat worth indulging in and would make the perfect gift for a loved one who adores a little luxury now and again.

The range is available at www.bodhi.uk.com and in Harvey Nichols and select online exclusive and retail stores.

So glad you enjoyed Bodhi. I am quite obsessed! Nothing wakes me up quite like the kick of Pep Noir in the morning – I have become quite reliant on it. Good thing is smells delicious too. x
